What’s New For Nissan in 2023?

Nissan is hoping to capitalize on the global EV momentum with its all-new all-electric 2023 Nissan Ariya. The Japanese automaker has ramped up its electrification efforts in order to produce a powerful and capable EV. Nissan has also made improvements to its Nissan Leaf which continues to serve consumers as an affordable and versatile electric SUV. Other vehicles seeing new updates include the Altima, Pathfinder, and Nissan Z. We’ll take a look at all these vehicles and more and see what consumers can expect from Nissan in 2023. 

New Changes For Nissan in 2023

Nissan will be making several changes and updates to its lineup for the 2023 model year. The Japanese automaker is also preparing for its newest vehicle, the all-electric Nissan Ariya. The electric SUV arrives as a powerful EV with a lot of capability. While slightly in contradiction to the automaker’s green initiative, the Nissan Z also arrives with a new look and increased performance. We’ll take a look a these and more and see what consumers can expect.

2023 Nissan Ariya

The 2023 Nissan Ariya is the latest Nissan vehicle and it arrives as a powerful electric SUV. The Ariya can be equipped with either a single motor or dual motor. The single motor offers 226 horsepower and 221lb-ft of torque while the dual motor delivers 389 horsepower and 442lb-ft of torque. The all-electric SUV also utilizes front-wheel drive and sees a battery mile range of up to 304 miles. Drivers can also opt for all-wheel drive which lets the Ariya achieve a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds. The electric SUV will start at an MSRP of $43,190 (plus destination fee)

2023 Nissan Z

The 2023 Nissan Z has been revitalized for the 2023 model year and comes with a more modern look. Nissan has also given the sports car a twin-turbo 3.0L V6 engine that delivers 400 horsepower and 350lb-ft of torque. This is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The Nissan Z achieves a 0-6 mph time of 4.5 seconds. Inside, owners will note a refreshed cabin with more modern technology. The 2023 Nissan Z starts at an MSRP of $39,990 (plus destination fee).

2023 Nissan Leaf

The 2023 Nissan Leaf has also been refreshed for the new model year with new exterior styling. Nissan hoped to touch up the Leaf’s styling to fit more in line with the 2023 Ariya. The electric SUV comes with a refreshed front end and gets a new grille, bumper, and headlights. The Japanese automaker has also updated the Leaf’s aerodynamics thereby increasing its capability. The 2023 Nissan Leaf starts at an MSRP of $28,040 (plus destination fee).

2023 Nissan Pathfinder

Another vehicle getting a new update is the 2023 Nissan Pathfinder. The three-row SUV receives a new trim for the new model year, the Rock Creek. This new off-road trim equips the Pathfinder with greater off-road capability. It also outfits the SUV with a higher suspension, all-terrain terrains, and an increase in horsepower (284 to 295). The new trim also affects the Pathfinder’s interior with a new vinyl upholstery and captain’s chairs. The 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek trim starts at an MSRP of $44,115 (plus destination fee).  

Other Changes

Other Nissan vehicles that will see updates or changes include the 2023 Nissan Altima with new interior and exterior styling. The Nissan Rogue and Frontier also get new Midnight Edition trims, and the Versa and Sentra get minor refreshes.
