The all-new 2023 Nissan Z has arrived. Nissan’s iconic sports car has been revitalized with better performance and modern technology. Although the Japanese automaker has been focused on its EVs like the 2023 Nissan Ariya and 2023 Leaf, Nissan has still made its Nissan Z a priority. While the 2023 Nissan Z was just recently unveiled, according to several spy shots, it seems that the sports car may be receiving either a new trim or a refresh. These shots come from the YouTuber Chrizleyva who captured a Nissan Z with a wrapped front fascia. We’re not sure what this could mean, but we’ll speculate as to what could be in store for the new Nissan Z.

Is There a New Nissan Z Trim?

Nissan recently released the all-new 2023 Nissan Z. The iconic sports car is set to come equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine that’s capable of 400 horsepower and 350lb-ft of torque. This engine will be paired with either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Nissan Z will also utilize rear-wheel drive. With enhanced performance, the 2023 Nissan Z will offer drivers a refined driving experience. What’s odd, however, is that the 2023 Nissan Z was recently spotted wrapped in camouflage. This may be an indication of a new refresh or a new trim in the works.

According to several spy shots from the YouTuber Chrizleyva, a 2023 Nissan Z was seen with camouflage wrappings. From the spy shots, the Nissan Z appeared to have tape on the rocker panel behind the front wheel as well as on the quarter panel in front of the rear wheel. In front of the sports car, we see the nose wrapped in camouflage. This is the largest indicator of new changes as the front fascia also looks different from the standard Nissan Z. Since the 2023 Z just came out, it’s interesting to see the sports car already receiving updates.

The 2023 Nissan Z also appeared to have a split front grille, though the camo covered most of it. Looking at the front fascia, it looks somewhat similar to the one used on the Fairlady Z which was seen earlier in the year. Nissan may be offering a retro-themed Nissan Z as an homage to the classic sports car. This update could also be a new package or simply a facelift. Whatever it is, we’ll have to stay tuned for information as Nissan confirms its plans for the all-new 2023 Nissan Z.
