The all-new 2023 Nissan Z is here. The iconic sports car arrives revitalized with improved performance and advanced technology. Nissan has modernized the interior cabin so that owners can take full advantage of the Nissan Z’s capabilities. As of late, Nissan has been focusing on its electrification efforts. With new electric vehicles like the 2023 Nissan Ariya, Nissan is hoping to get a lead in the emerging EV market. This hasn’t stopped the Japanese automaker from improving its iconic vehicles like the Nissan Z. The sports car is set to release in the summer of 2022 so we’ll take a look at what consumers can expect from the all-new 2023 Nissan Z.

Driving the 2023 Nissan Z

The all-new 2023 Nissan Z comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine that’s capable of 400 horsepower and 350lb-ft of torque. This engine can be paired with either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission. The Nissan Z also utilizes rear-wheel drive which provides it with impressive performance. With a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds, the Nissan Z provides drivers with quick acceleration as power comes early in the RPMs. Owners will also enjoy the low center of gravity which helps provide more control whether on a track or the highway.

For fuel economy, the Nissan Z gets 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. This is when using the automatic transmission as it offers more efficiency. For those wanting higher performance, the manual transmission is the way to go. With the manual, the Nissan Z gets 18 mph in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.

Inside the 2023 Nissan Z

Nissan has modernized the interior of the all-new 2023 Nissan Z and added a plethora of advanced features. Owners will note a similar two-seater layout as the previous Nissan coupe, but with updated materials. The 2023 Nissan Z features a leather upholstery with power adjustable seats and dual-zone climate controls. The interior is comfortable and offers drivers an array of driver-assist features. There’s also an 8-inch infotainment screen that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For safety, the Nissan Z offers Nissan Safety Shield 360 which includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and more. Pricing has not been finalized yet, but Nissan will likely offer the 2023 Nissan Z at an MSRP of around 40,000 (plus destination fee). Those expecting the all-new Nissan Z can expect it to release in the summer of 2022.
