Offered with either a single motor or a dual motor, owners will note how smooth the electric crossover handles. This is due to the Ariya’s regenerative braking and finely tuned suspension. While driving, both the driver and passengers will note how quiet and comfortable the Ariya is. For those wanting performance, they can opt for the dual motor setup which offers 389 horsepower and 442lb-ft of torque. The dual motor can also be paired with Nissan’s innovative e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system which lets the Ariya hit a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds. As for range, the Ariya offers up to 300 miles of battery range before needing to recharge.

2) Interior Cabin

The second reason to consider the 2023 Ariya is its interior cabin. Due to the lack of an engine, the Ariya offers ample cabin space. The center console is also unique in that it can be moved forward or slid back to open up a large storage area between the front seats. A storage bin and work surface tray can also be slid out from the dashboard. As far as design goes, the Ariya features a minimalist and modern interior design that still feels lavish. Seats come heated and ventilated and owners can opt for either Nappa leather or cloth for the upholstery. Two 12.3-inch display screens serve as the infotainment system and instrument cluster. There’s also a host of physical buttons on the steering wheel for audio and cruise functions. 

3) Driver Assist/Safety Features

Finally, the Nissan Ariya offers a plethora of driver-assist and safety features. The electric crossover SUV arrives with Nissan’s safety shield 360 suite which includes lane-departure warnings, rear cross-traffic alerts, blind spot warnings, and automatic emergency braking. The suite has also been updated to include two new driver-assist features: ProPilot Park and ProPilot Assist. ProPilot Park can automatically park the Nissan Ariya either in perpendicular or parallel parking spots while ProPilot Assist uses a combination of radar, cameras, and sensors to allow hands-free driving on certain highways. With so many impressive features, the 2023 Nissan Ariya proves to be a highly capable and versatile EV.
