Nissan revealed its pricing for the 2023 Nissan Armada, the most potent member of the brand’s SUV lineup. Entering the 2023 model year with a few changes, the 2023 body-on-frame Armada functions as much more than a family hauler thanks to its long list of standard features. First things first, the 2023 Nissan Armada has a starting MSRP of $52,095 (including the destination fee), an increase from its 2022 starting price at $50,395 (including the destination fee). Price changes are to be expected when vehicles are significantly upgraded for the model year, and that’s exactly the case with the 2023 Armada. Prospective buyers of the 2023 Nissan Armada have four different trims to choose from–Armada S, Armada SV, Armada SL, and the top-tier Armada Platinum.

One pricing feature that’s unchanged from 2022 is the addition of four-wheel drive (including a two-speed transfer case), which costs $3,000 no matter the trim. As for mechanical changes, the 2023 Armada doesn’t have much to report on this front. The previous engine, a 5.6-liter V8, remains under the hood with its 400 horsepower and 412 lb-ft of torque. When mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission, the 2023 Armada can tow up to 8,500 pounds–quite the feat for such a burly family hauler.

Some of the most advanced features, such as Amazon Alexa compatibility, are reserved to the higher-tier trims such as the SV, SL, and Platinum trims. When equipped with Amazon Alexa connectivity, drivers can play music, remotely talk to other Amazon Alexa devices connected within their home, and even make phone calls. As for the SV trim, it gains LED front fog lights, an ato-dimming mirror with a built-in universal garage door opener, and a remote engine starter. Up next is the Armada SL, which not only adds the previously mentioned features, it also comes with a heated steering wheel. The 2023 Nissan Armada is making its way across the country via auto shows before landing in dealerships in the coming weeks. Also worth mentioning is the fact that there’s a rumored Armada coming with a twin-turbocharged V6 engine sometime in 2023.

On the inside, the 2023 Nissan Armada features a cushy and spacious cabin that pairs well with its classy outer shell. Insulated from outside noise, the cabin of the upcoming Armada is clad in attractive and soft materials that smooth out any rough edges. With its three rows, the 2023 Armada can seat up to eight passengers, although buyers who opt for second-row captain’s chairs will drop overall capacity to seven. When compared to modern rivals, the Armada holds its own and features plenty of third-row legroom–something that seems to trouble other automakers. The top-tier Platinum trim is where the Armada really shines thanks to its quilted seat surfaces and imitation open-pore wood trim, giving the SUV a more luxurious feel.
