2023 Nissan Altima To Receive New Styling

The 2023 Nissan Altima will be receiving new exterior styling. Nissan will be providing the family sedan with a new facelift that will help improve the Altima’s look. Along with the new facelift, the 2023 Altima will also receive some changes to its wheels as well as its interior. As of late, Nissan has been focusing on its electrification efforts. The Japanese automaker has been getting ready to release its next electric vehicle, the 2023 Nissan Ariya, which it hopes will solidify it as an EV maker. Although the Nissan Leaf has seen a lot of success, Nissan wants to prove that it can continue to produce high-performance EVs that are both stylish and reliable. For now, we’ll take a look at the new 2023 Nissan Altima and see what consumers can expect.

2023 Nissan Altima Receives New Facelift

The 2023 Nissan Altima recently received a new facelift. Nissan improved the family sedan with several exterior changes as well as some interior changes. Despite the styling changes, the 2023 Altima will still arrive with the standard 2.5L four-cylinder engine that’s capable of 188 horsepower. Those wanting more power can opt for a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that offers 248 horsepower, though it is reserved for the Altima SR trim. The 2.5L engine comes with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive while the variable compression turbo 2.0L engine comes with front-wheel drive. 

For the 2023 model year, Nissan reworked the Altima’s front end to feature a front grille that takes up more of the front fascia. The new grille is a version of the V-motion grille and bears Nissan’s new logo. The front bumper also has larger intakes. Those opting for the Nissan SR trim will notice a unique grille design with a black chrome finish. Owners of the 2023 Altima will also notice new wheel designs. Owners can choose between four different wheel options that range in size from 17 to 19 inches. The sedan also features two new exterior color options, Gray Sky Pearl and Garnett Pearl.

Inside the 2023 Nissan Altima, owners will note a relatively similar interior cabin. Minor changes include a new finish around the gauge cluster while the SR trim features dual-stitch fabric. The family sedan does receive a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen which is standard on the SL and SR trims. This touchscreen has clearer graphics and comes compatible with Apple CarPlay. Android Auto requires plugging in, however. Those looking forward to the 2023 Nissan Altima can expect it to arrive in the fall of 2022. The current Nissan Altima starts at an MSRP of $24,900 (plus destination fee), so the 2023 Altima may not see too much of a price increase.
