2022 Nissan Murano Receives Midnight Edition Appearance Package

Nissan will be providing the 2022 Nissan Murano with a new appearance package. Called Midnight Edition, this appearance package will update the 2022 Murano with new exterior styling. Unfortunately, Nissan will not be redesigning the Murano for the 2022 model year. This may stem from the all-new Pathfinder finding success on dealer lots across the country. For now, it seems Nissan will keep the 2-row midsize SUV unchanged for at least one more yet.

2022 Nissan Murano Gets New Appearance Package

Nissan has been focusing on its luxury sports cars like the Nissan Z and GT-R. the Japanese automaker has also been focusing on producing electric vehicles to compete with the copious amount of automakers trying to do the same thing. With so much to focus on, it’s no surprise that Nissan isn’t showing the 2022 Murano too much attention. Especially given that the all-new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder has been making headlines since its debut. Fortunately, Nissan isn’t leaving the 2022 Murano out to dry. Rather Nissan will be providing the midsize SUV with a new appearance package, the Midnight Edition. 

The 2022 Nissan Murano will be getting the Midnight Edition appearance package. This package will add a glossy black grille, black exterior trim pieces, black roof rails, and glossy black 20-inch wheels. The midsize SUV will also get badging on the hatch and illuminated sill plates to further highlight it as a Midnight Edition trim. The SUV will be available in black, white, and gray. It should be noted that this package comes available for the Murano SV which starts at an MSRP of $36,450 (plus destination fee). 

The 2022 Murano is an affordable midsize SUV that’s known for its premium styling. It comes standard with a 260 horsepower V6 engine and though it is somewhat lacking in towing capacity (max 1,500 pounds), given its premium features and moderate pricing, it’s a great choice for those wanting a blend of luxury and practicality.
